We are a traditionally run family hotel in Tyrol, Austria. Our hotel proudly reflects its historic foundations. In 1275 the former Court ‘fir tree’ was first
mentioned in original documents of the famous Cistercian monastery of Stams.
Since 1835 it has been a privately owned Inn. Today, we operate in both the main and an adjacent building. Our recently renovated dining room accommodates up to 150 people. A cosy atmosphere can also be enjoyed in our
Hirschenstube (Deer Bar). Our spa package includes a sauna, steam room andrelaxation room. Since the summer of 2009, our guests can also use our newly designed garden with a swimming pond. A special attraction is our deer park.
We pamper our guests, preferably with products from our own farm or from the local Tyrol area. For our vegetarian guests, our cuisine offers a variety of local delicacies.

Tyrolean country house style; some rooms have balconies. An outdoor swimming pool is open for residents in summer, as is our revamped paddling pool.
Hiking and biking trails are nearby and for our winter guests the nearby ski area (about 20 km) makes an ideal starting point for Ski safaris.
The famous Cistercian monastery in Stams is only about 2 km from our hotel.
About 20 km away, the provincial capital of Innsbruck has several interesting museums, churches and castles.

All our rooms are equipped with a shower or bathroom and satellite T.V. Some have a balcony.


Our inn offers a home-style cooking, principally with produce from our own
farm or the surrounding area. Even the drinks: wine, liquor, beer, .. come exclusively from our region.

Breakfast and Taxes are included in room rates.

Cancellation:

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
