Great value for your money, especially since they serve breakfast every morning. The location is great, but I didn't like that you can't park your car in front to unload the bags (I had a few). I had to park in the Target parking for that. And a lot of stairs to haul my luggage up. The room was very clean. You could see staff did everything to keep the place clean. I didn't like the hardness of the bed. I prefer softer ones.

The location of this hostel cannot be beat. It's so conveniently located to major attractions (across the street from Pike Place Market, and easy tram ride to the Space Needle, EMP museum, Chihuly Gardens, etc.) and convenience (next door to Target). The staff was friendly and pretty helpful. Cleanliness was better than I expected for a hostel (the hostel was cleaned once a day), and most of my rating for cleanliness has to do with the actions of fellow guests. I would stay there again.

Location is perfect & Clean & staffs are kind, but not too much. and as per changed their new rule, breakfast is so small, even no bread. Shower room is enough, but i couldn't close my room window.. But location & room rate is great :)
This was my first experience in a hostel and it was amazing. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the location couldn't be better. Although shared on a hallway, the bathrooms are single occupant (and upgraded with a glass shower). I loved everything about my experience. Will DEFINITELY recommend/stay again!

Rooms and bathrooms very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Location can't be beaten. Free and good breakfast everyday and free dinner every other day. Lots of information and activities, what else can you ask for? GREAT place, totally recommended.

This is hands-down one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, second only to Tokyo International. It's affordable, in a great location, free breakfasts, clean and spacious bathrooms, friendly staff, the whole nine yards. I can't recommend them enough.

The staff was helpful and check in was fast and easy. I had a great nights sleep and was on my way in the morning without any drama. I've stayed here before and I will stay here again.
This was a fantastic hostel. Excellent location, loved the dinners and breakfasts. Fantastic washrooms. Loved the self contained bunks with curtains & individual lights. Loved it.

It was really great. pike market place is nearby here, and services like breakfast or clearness are nice. And also you can see the sea behind pike market place.

I had a great time staying at Green Tortoise. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I made some nice friends at hostel. there are great travelers at this place..you gonna love it..and we did pub crawling one night which was fun..overall it was amazing time at Grenn Tortoise..Hope to come back again in the future.
Staff was nice, the location was great. I slept really well at the hostel, and I really liked how every bed had its own curtains!
