Milan's Pinacoteca Ambrosiana was originally created in 1607 by Federico Borromeo as a Fine Art Academy to train new artists. Thanks to donations made over the centuries, today the gallery boasts a wide array of artworks, including Leonardo's Musico.
Other most prominent paintings are Caravaggio's Canestra di Frutta, Boticelli's Madonna del Padiglione and Brueghel's Fire and Water.
