Housed in the constructivist Veletrní Palace, the Prague National Gallery has modern and contemporary art collections. Three floors are devoted to the permanent collection of Czech art from the 19th and 20th centuries, and there are also temporary exhibitions.
The centre has a stunning setting in a controversial building, originally built in the 1920s but rebuilt in 1995 after it was destroyed by fire. It's well worth a visit.
