The magnificent Ca' Rezzonico palazzo graces the Grand Canal in Dorsoduro. Inside, the Museum of 18th-century Venice fills 21 rooms, spread over three floors. Works on display include period furniture, paintings, sculptures and beautiful frescoes by Tiepolo, among others.
Upon its opening as a museum on 25 April 1936, the palace became the repository of the 18th century collections of the Correr museum. Masters on display include Pietro Longhi, Guardi, Giandomenico Tiepolo, Francesco Zuccarelli and Gregorio Lazzarini, Tiepolo's first teacher and sensei.
