    Dublin:

Led by local guides, this Dublin tour provides a passionate insight into the Easter Rising. Entitled the 1916 Rebellion Walking Tour, it starts at the International Bar on Wicklow Street and takes in the significant sites of the rebellion.

In 1916 a few militant Irish Republicans attempted to win independence from the UK, an event known as the Easter Rising. Key Dublin points were seized and an Irish Republic declared, leading to brutal suppression by British forces. After the British put the militants to death, the independence movement was popularised throughout Ireland.

There are no tours on St Patrick's Day (17 March) or Good Friday.
