A city in northern Italy known both for tourism and for industry, and is the capital of the region Veneto.Venice, Italy (Venezia in Italian) is still one of the most fantastic and lovely places in the world. This sanctuary on a lagoon is virtually the same as it was six hundred years ago, which adds to the fascinating character. Because Venice is on a lagoon, the water plays a crucial role in transportation. The most popular way to approach Venice is by boat or train, there are no cars in Venice and bicycles are not allowed. Don't miss the Rialto Bridge (Italian: Ponte di Rialto) on San Polo and the Rialto market before the Rialto bridge on the left. Venice also have a shopping market for the biggest Italian brands, a stay in Venice is not cheap if you are looking for a room for your own, if you are travelling with a group of friends you can find a hostel with shared room cheaper than 20 euros per person / per day. For label clothing shopping, the best area is that around the Piazza San Marco, where you can find Versace, MaxMara, Gucci, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Prada and numerous more big names. If you are presentable, and you plan to stay in Venice for at least a few weeks, drop into the apartment rentals or hostels. These are usually the minimum budget stay and they offer the cheapest prices.

Residenza Ca' Dario was a lovely bed and breakfast to stay at. It was close to the train station, but sometimes difficult to find (if coming from the opposite direction). The only real problem was that the bathroom was out of toilet paper overnight which was a problem.

Margarita From Russia On November 30, -0001

We`ve stayed in Venice for 2 days in the Residenza Ca`Dario at Corte Canal. This is a perfect place for those travellers who do not want to pay a lot and be able to reach the heart of Venice in 10 min by boat-bus! Train station is in 3-4 min walk from there, that`s a great advantage!and just outside you can find a nice restaurant to dine in. It`s a nice place to stay in!!!

Globalement, assez bien.

Christian From Germany On November 30, -0001

Für einen kurzen Urlaub ist die Villa gut geeignet,Preis und Angebot stimmen, Lage etwas abseits, aber Bus und Vaporettodienst gut.

It's good quiet place with kindly people. We stayed there for two nights and noone disturbed our sleeping. Big rooms with conditioneer and cheapest mini-bar I ever saw! Close to vaparetto line and good supermarket (you can't find supermarkets in Venice so often as in other cities).

very clean, but there are no workers around the house, if we have some problem, it is hard to talk to them, only for calls.

NUR From Turkey On November 30, -0001

The room was very clean and sufficient for "single person" stay. It was situated very locally. My only problem was carrying my luggage from the main place to my room. Even though, I asked with e-mail where I would be situated, I did not got an answer. And not knowing where you will end is the only problem with this hostel.

Perhaps acceptance of electronic payment could elevate an otherwise excellent experience. Otherwise a pleasant and delightful stay. Clean, enjoyable and professional.

Great little guesthouse 5 minutes walk from Campo San Margherita and St. Toma Vaporetto stop. Very handy to the main bus stop at Piazzale Roma also. We initially had trouble finding it however as there are 10+ "Calle del Forno" streets in Venice and hostelworld had marked it incorrectly on the map. Apart from this i'd recommend it to friends and family. It's in a nice area, and quiet (from loud noises) at night.

stephanie From Canada On November 30, -0001

I would advise this hotel: it is clean, pretty and well situated (In Venise, it is convenient to be close to the train station). Otherwise, the bed was not comfortable and we could hear the people of the other room. I have however seen worst for a one star hotel.

We was lucky to stay in a small private house, with kitchen and private wc. Everything was excellent. The manager of the guesshouse was nice. Nothing to complain!
