The room was quite nice and clean, we've got the one with the private bathroom. But the kitcehn was messy, with a terrible smell coming out from the fridge and the sink full of dishes from the previous day. The owner's family with a small child lives at the same flat, eats at the same living room, leaves their upper clothes and shoes at the table we had to eat. Yes, you need to prepare breakfast yourself, have your own coffee, and even cups for it (there were no aproppriate cups), you can cook but that's not nice in a messy kitchen. So this is not the real B&B. But that's Italy and you don't know what to expect! The owner Allesandro was nice to reccomend us some places to visit, we've got a map of Rome. The position of a place was a bit too far for us, cause we've been walking only by foot. But that's a quiet place, so good for a good rest. So the price is ok for the value you get cause you come here only to sleep over and leave early in the morning.

At our arrival we were shocked! We booked the room room with double bed and private bathroom, but this room was not cleaned yet. Alessandro was not at home and his girlfriend was unable to clean it. She called him twice and after waiting about half an our he arrived finally and cleaned the room, but he forgot to clean the floor! It was really dirty! After the description from hostels.com we renounced to take breakfast there. There was a table in his living room where you can eat some cereals. Not really nice! Some evenings there was music played by his girlfriend loudly. But there were of course good things: The room was small but nice. A small double bed and a nice small TV were inside. The bathroom was okay. The way to the Vatican was short. You can reach it in 10 minutes. Alessandro was friendly and helped us a lot to have a nice trip in Rome and showed us a way to the most important buildings there. And we reached everything by foot, only for the way to the central station we used the metro. The location was also very nice, we had very nice breakfasts in the cafes near the hostel, and we bumped in a really typical market, for the Italian citizens, not for tourists. By forgetting the arrival all in all it was a nice trip, but next time I would choose another apartment.

Owner/reception very nice, helpful & friendly. Room itself was clean but bathroom was quite used. It looks better on pictures. wifi was there but it wasnt working properly as so the fridge. Good that room was cleaned every day, we also had towels changed. Great location, but not so quiet. If you accept those shortcomings I can recommend :)

A little hint for visitors. Since the bus stops only for request there's impossible to know on which bus stop to get off the bus. Therefore I'd advise to press the "Stop" button immediately after noticing the "AGIP" petrol station on the left.

Jan From Czech Republic On November 30, -0001

The location is really bad, the bus goes whenever it wants and sometimes you have to wait about an hour till it arrives. To get to the right bus stop is really hard and takes ages for the first time. Information about arival to accomodation is almost useless. The same goes for information about accomodation. The loation is its biggest weakness. We were informed that Roma tax is included and it was not, we paid extra 50 Euro. I do NOT recommend this accomodation.

These are comfortable, clean and sedate hotel-quality rooms within a few 100 m of the St Peter's Basilica and Vatican City. Highly recommended, with most staff cheerful, helpful and multilingual. I appreciated their help in pre-booking museum tickets for our onward journey to Florence.

AD1 House is a disgusting place, located in a completely different location than the address on the website. The basement is adapted to the rooms! Breakfast is served in a cheap bar. Im from Argentina. My bed was full of bedbugs (piojos de cama). I suffered to night. Then I went to the reception to tell the guys. They put me in another room and gave me free laundry to wash my infected cloth. Also the elevator never worked and all the bathrooms I used were always dirty. A good thing: the room is very spacious.
