We stayed in Loris hotel for 2 nights. As traveling on budget, we totally get what we paid for. Great value for the money since all we needed was a place to sleep that's clean and a shower. Near the hotel there's a market where u can find pretty cheap things which was awesome.Location is good, near the Loreto metro station but u can also reach the center by walk, down the Buenos Aires street for about 40 mins. The only thing we didn't like was the smell of cigarettes in the room, so when booking make sure u select for non-smoking one if u also find this as a problem. The hair drier in our room didn't work, but we got another one right away. Staff was kind but they didn't speak much english.

Suzanne From Australia On November 30, -0001

This hotel was booked for us by a friend based on the photos on the website. Those photos make the hotel look friendly and inviting. The rooms are tiny and the bathrooms are very old. They were relativly clean but very dated and in need of renovations. The lock was of poor quality and my husband spent most of the first night up watching the door as some shady charachters were also staying there. They expected you to leave your key at reception when you left the hotel but had no security as to where they key was kept so we refused and just walked out with it and were greeted with cold looks every time we entered. If you need to be close to Milan Central this is only a few minutes from there but it is a cheap hotel for a reason. We would not be coming back.

Very clean, we paid for a double room, but we got a room with 1 extra bed (3 persons room) we could put all our staff on that bed:D. shower was in the room, only the WC was shared, but very clean. As every hostel you can hear everyone, at middle of the night a girl started to sign a song, if you know what i mean:)). that was for no more than 15 minutes. Maybe this was because we also did the same during the day:)). A carrefour is across the street, the hostel is 15 minutes away (walking) from the Metro. The staff was nice, we were allowed to book earlier. As every hostel is ok if you stay only for few nights. Overall we got what we paid for.

Clean hotel. Size of room (number 5): Medium size but more than enough for a weekend stay. Noisy because it is in a principal street, but bearable. Breakfast: coffe plus some packet biscuits and pastry and juice (normal but enought, as at home) So very near to all means of transport that takes you to center in 10 minutes. Local restaurants good and cheaper than others at the city center. I recomend it if you are looking look for a moderate price place (it was the cheapest i found (via internet) 3 days before Monza F1 race September 2011).

Diana From USA On November 30, -0001

Staff was very friendly and helpful (even though my Italian is terrible) and room was comfortable and clean. The only major drawback to this hotel is that it was a little hard to find. The street signs are small and hard to see, and if you're American they're not where you would expect them to be. The sign for the hotel is also smaller than Americans are used to. If you are unfamiliar with the area, and especially if you don't speak very much Italian, I recommend looking at where the hotel is on a map before going there. If you are American, a few things that you may not be used to: the hotel room has a sink but not its own bathroom--toilet and shower are shared and off the hallway. Also, the lobby is upstairs and you will have to ring a buzzer in order to be let in. The location is very convenient--right next to the train station--but be aware that if you arrive late the neighborhood can be a little sketchy at night. All in all, this hotel was extremely convenient, comfortable, and a great deal. Any drawbacks are minor and can be easily dealt with if you are prepared.
